Mira Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 15, 2026
Mira (“we,” “us”) is operated by Mira. This policy explains what information we access, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It covers founders who use our service and the information we handle on their behalf.
1. What we access
To run your email and calendar, we access:
- Email content, attachments, and metadata in the mailbox you delegate to us
- Calendar events, invitations, and availability
- Contact details as they appear in your email and calendar
- Information you share with us directly, for example in Slack or during onboarding
- Billing details needed to process payment
We access only what is needed to provide the service, and nothing outside the accounts you grant us.
2. How we get access
In our current phase, you grant access using Google’s built-in delegation: the "grant access to your account" feature in Gmail and calendar sharing with edit permission. You can revoke this at any time from your own Google settings. We do not store your password and never sign in as you.
If you move to our managed application in the future, access is granted through Google’s OAuth consent flow under the same revoke-anytime principle.
3. How we use it
We read, triage, organize, draft, schedule, and escalate on your behalf. A human reviews every outbound action. Nothing is sent, deleted, or scheduled without a person checking it first.
4. AI and automated processing
We use third-party large language models to help draft replies and classify messages. This is part of how the service works, and we are transparent about it. A human reviews all AI-assisted output before anything goes out. We use these providers under business or API terms that do not permit using your data to train their models.
5. Who we share information with
We use a small set of trusted sub-processors to operate the service:
- Google (Gmail, Calendar): the systems we operate within
- Slack: how we communicate with you
- Anthropic (Claude): drafting and classification
- OpenAI (GPT): drafting and classification
- Render: hosting for the website and application
- Stripe: billing
- 1Password: securing access credentials
We never sell your information or share it for advertising.
6. What we store, and where
The bulk of your data stays in Google and Slack. We do not bulk-export or warehouse your inbox. What we hold is limited to:
- Configuration and preferences for how you want email and calendar handled
- Voice and style samples used to draft in your tone
- Daily briefs and operational notes
- Billing records
7. Retention and deletion
We keep the limited information above for as long as you use the service. When you offboard, we remove our access, and we delete or return what we hold within 30 days at your request.
8. Security
We protect access with a dedicated password manager, two-factor authentication, and least-privilege practices. Access to your accounts is limited to the people who need it to serve you.
9. Other people’s information
Your email and calendar contain information about people who contact you. We process that information only to provide the service to you, and we do not use it for any other purpose.
10. Your control
You can revoke our access at any time, request a copy of what we hold, or ask us to delete it. To do so, contact us at maddiefarrell7@gmail.com.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the new effective date and notify you of material changes.
